Walk to Long Man, Wilmington and pub lunch 9 June 2023

10.00: walk of five miles around Wilmington including the Long Man, the Wilmington yew tree (1600 years old) and Folkington. There will be some magnificent views. Start/finish at Sussex Ox gastropub, Milton Street BN26 5RL (between Lewes and Polegate). The walk will not be strenuous but suitable footwear is recommended.

12.30: lunch at the Sussex Ox, www.thesussexox.co.uk. We will have to make our menu choices about two weeks beforehand. If fine, we can eat outside but if inclement we can eat inside. Each member to pay for lunch at time of ordering.
