Visit to Michelham Priory 12 Sept 2021

John Loveridge had organised a Noggin today at the Firle Hill Climb however due to parking problems, notified to John just a couple of days before the event, this was cancelled and he was able to organise at very short notice a Noggin at Michelham Priory on a lovely sunny day.  Thank you John.

The Priory is a very beautiful historic property with lots of history, beautiful gardens including a Physic garden, exhibitions, a working watermill and cafe. The house dates back to 1229 when the Priory was founded until the Dissolution in 1537. After this time the house underwent various transformations including the addition of an extensive tudor wing.

9 Morgans, including Bruce`s three wheeler, parked on the grass inside the grounds of the Priory and members enjoyed their picnics.
