Drive it Day, 27 April 2025

 

 

This is an annual event when classic car owners are encouraged to take their vehicles out onto the road to show them off and to generally enjoy the day. For the last couple of years SexMog have organised a meet up at a cafe allowing members to either have a run out before lunch or afterwards. Last year 27 members took part and as everybody was coming from different directions ,rather than organise a run from a central point it made sense to organise a meet up location so that members could get together for lunch.

Last year`s venue, THE CAFE AT PERRYHILL FARM SHOP, proved very popular and the owners have said that they would like to welcome us back again this year. and for our Morgans to take a pit stop at their cafe.

They will be able to provide their full extensive menu, which includes breakfast and there is no requirement to pre order)so you can order on the day and they will be geared up to receive us any time between 12 noon and last orders before 3pm.when they stop selling hot food.. They hope that not everybody will arrive at the same time but from what we remember from last year they cope admirably with multiple orders!

The area around Hartfield is very attractive:with the Ashdown Forest, Pooh Corner, Pooh Bridge and Hartfield village itself. Please note that there will not be a special allocated area inside the cafe for us as it is quite small inside and there may be other people eating there as well.

Perryhill would like to have an idea of numbers to make sure they have enough seating so if you think you might be stopping there for lunch please send us an email, if possible at least a week before to mogsatappletree@googlemail.com. Should the weather be good there is outside seating available
