Visit to Nutley Sports and Prestige Car Centre followed by a private collection visit and lunch at Coolings. Wednesday 16th July 2025

Jeff Deere organised a visit to the  Nutley Sports and Prestige Car Centre. So many people asked to attend that the original number limit had to be extended twice. Forty one members came and arrived in nineteen Morgans.
Jeff had set up the visit in three stages:
1, To the Centre itself  whose owner, Matthew Eade, would be present.
2. To the owner’s private collection at his house
3. Lunch at Coolings Garden Centre in Wych Cross afterwards.
Due to an accident the night before, several roads to Nutley were closed and some people had a very difficult journey. The tea/coffee and pastries  0ffered to all members on arrival were therefore especially welcomed.
We then had an opportunity to look at the pristine cars in the showroom, including two Morgans, before Matthew took a question and answer session on the history of the garage and gave his views on the current state of the classic car market. We then drove a few miles to Matthew’s home and were given the opportunity to view his amazing personal collection of sports and classic cars and to hear the history of each model.

Finally we drove  to Wych Cross to have a pre-ordered lunch at Coolings Garden Centre.

Many thanks to Jeff and Matthew for organising a truly excellent day.
Thanks to David and Marilyn Neary for the photographs.
