London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. 1 Nov 2026, The Jolly Tanners, Staplefield

Our next event is our meeting at The Jolly Tanners at Staplefield to watch the cars pass by on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. The first cars normally reach Staplefield between 08:30 and 09:00.
The pub will have hot drinks and breakfast baps for sale from about 08:00 and will be serving soup and burgers later in the day from an outside kitchen. We have a provisional booking with restricted numbers for lunch at 12:30 if any members would like to take up this option. Those members taking lunch will need to pre-order their lunch choices from the menus attached.
Unfortunately, the pub cannot allocate us the front parking area as per last year. This year, we have been allocated 7 spaces on the back fence of the carpark. These will be for Morgan cars only and will need to be pre-allocated with registration numbers provided to the pub.
Please let us know by return whether you will be attending and, if you want to book for lunch, please let us have your choices from the menus attached.
If you are coming in your Morgan and would like to park in the pub carpark, please let us know your registration number. As spaces are limited, allocations will be made as replies are received from members.
