Visit to Firle Horse Trial/Country Fair. 15th May 2022

Our event for May is a visit to Firle Horse Trials.  We have been invited to put our Morgans on display at the event.  A maximum of 20 cars is allowed.  We last went to the Horse Trials in 2018 and it is a very nice country event with lots of dog things  and craft stalls  and areas selling food and drink.  If you look at their website there is a nice picture of our Morgans lined up in front of the house.  At that time we were overlooking the show jumping arena (and had a grandstand view !).  The house is open to visitirs at a reduced rate on the day.

If you would like to go along, please email me at pavmog@outlook.com before Wed 4^th May.  It needs to be early because the organisers need to send us special entry passes.   On that subject I am afraid I won’t be there on the day as Paul and I are in France for the whole of May.  So we are needing a volunteer to receive the tickets in advance and distribute them on the day.

The organisers have said that they need the cars to be in position by the time the trials event begins at 9am.  If we are in the same position you have to drive across the show jumping entrance to get there.  They would also like them to stay until about 5 but it could be earlier.  As I recall, last time the weather  wasn’t very good (it was August )  and they didn’t mind us wanting to go early.
