SexMog Badge

This is the artwork for the new Brighton Centre “SexMog” car badge. It is vitreous enamel on chrome plated brass and made for us by Premier Badges of Essex who also supply the MSCC badges. It is not the cheaper plastic resin-filled type where the colouring matter drops out with vibration.

The badge is 4” wide and 5” tall including the mount. It is cut to shape at the top to simulate Brighton Pavilion, though the height of the minarets has had to be reduced for safety reasons.. Colours are notoriously difficult to reproduce via computers because we all have different monitors and printers. Note that the background colour of the badge is cream – the same colour as the 2016 VinMog lapel and car badges. The artwork shows as grey on my monitor.

The badge will be available with the car in one of five colours: Dark Green (I’m not getting involved in any arguments about what shade BRG should be!) Light Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue and Red (as shown) Mounting brackets and screws are NOT included.

The price is £30 each to Brighton Centre members collecting from a noggin or from my house near Horam. For those who can’t collect personally, add post and packing of £5.00 (Parcel Force 1st Class signed delivery. UK destination) Any stock remaining will be sold to other MSCC members via Miscellany at £35 plus p+p.

I shall be at the next noggin at The Spur, Slindon. If you’d like one (or more) then please complete the attached form and bring it and your cheque book to Slindon. If you can’t make the noggin then postal details are on the attached form. Order early to get the colour of your choice.

The order of 50 badges (ten of each colour) will be placed immediately after the noggin and delivery is expected in 4 to 5 weeks.
