Ashdown Forest Walk, and lunch at Giggles Pub, Nutley
For September Tony and April Wright are organising a walk followed by lunch on the Ashdown Forest on Sunday 8thSeptember. Meet at the Giggles Pub in Nutley (on the A22 opposite the village green) at 11am for coffee followed by a walk of about 1 hour (including a couple of hills). This will be followed by 1pm lunch at Giggles Pub recently taken over by a local resident. It will be necessary to pre order your menu choices in advance.
Also Matthew Eade at Nutley Sports and Prestige Cars says that he may open in the afternoon for a visit and a cup of tea, or after lunch you could drive over the Ashdown Forest and visit the Ashdown Forest Centre at Wych Cross
Hopefully weather will be kind for a walk on the Ashdown Forest, bring suitable shoes /boots/wellies just in case. If a storm rages we will be in touch nearer the time.
Coffee at Giggles at 11am, plenty of room for cars: lots of coffee choices, please pay at the bar. Walk at 11.30 ish for about an hour, mainly forest tracks with a couple of hilly slopes.
If you would rather just join us for lunch Giggles opens from 12 noon
Lunch is booked for 1pm either in the pub or the extensive patio and garden if the sun is shining- your choice.
