David and Marilyn are arranging a visit to Sussex Prairie Gardens ( sussexprairies.co.uk) near Henfield on the 14th August. This is an 8 acre colourful garden planted and maintained by Paul and Pauline McBride which we have visited before and which is described by Gardeners World Magazine as ” Huge borders are woven with swathes of swaying grasses and perennials” It is a photographers paradise and the range of prairie plants is constantly changing. Our visit will coincide with one of their events – the Indian Bazaar Summer Market. There will be food available to buy and a special vegetarian curry on offer which will need to be booked in advance. Last time we were allowed to park the Morgans on the grass amongst the flowers but this will depend on the weather. More details nearer the time.
